With the base unit SSM-BG4x it is possible to build an interface card to your own specific demands.
The SSM-BG4x is a standard interface card, which connects to any standard S5® from Siemens rack or the VIPA mounting rack 188-3UA00.
By placing the required interface module, each channel can be configured independently to customer specifications.
The SSM BG4x is the result of intensive co-operation between VIPA and customers in the automotive, material handling, food and packing industries.
The SSM BG4x is simply reconfigured to operate in a different application.
