| The RS42 and RS485 submodules are plug-ins for the communication processors SSM-BG41, BG42 and BG43. |
| They are used for point to point or multipoint communication, based on the RS422/485 standard. |
| Two load resistances of 100Ohm can be added. The submodules are floating (potential free). |
| The 3964(R) requires the use of RS422P because of the full duplex connection. |
